Kanter Steps Down as Broadcaster

Salmon Arm, B.C. — Salmon Arm Silverbacks broadcaster Nathan Kanter is stepping down from his post as Play-by-Play Announcer and Communications Coordinator to pursue another career opportunity.

Kanter has been the voice of the Backs the past two seasons, while also managing the team website and social media accounts.

“First and foremost, I want to thank the Silverbacks ownership group and Brooks Christensen for giving me the opportunity to call games and hone my craft for such a great organization,” Kanter said. “I also want to thank the coaching staff and players for their support during my time time here and thank the amazing fans for the passion they displayed.”

“We’d like to wish Nathan all the best in his new opportunity and thank him for all his dedication to this program,” Silverbacks general manager and operations manager Brooks Christensen said. “I believe Nathan has been a key part of the success we’ve had since he joined our club and he has set the bar high for our organization moving forward.”

The Silverbacks organization would like to wish Nathan all the best in his future endeavours.
